Details
The Second Home Visa is for foreign nationals who want to live in Indonesia long term without working or operating a business. It is issued for five years and can be renewed for another five, allowing up to ten years of residence.
To qualify, you must either hold at least USD 130,000 in an Indonesian state-owned bank or own property in Indonesia valued at USD 1,000,000 or more.
You may use the funds in the account while the visa is valid, but immigration can request proof of the required balance at any time. If you cannot provide that proof, your visa and the visas of sponsored family members may be canceled.
Property used for the application must specifically carry Hak Pakai, or Right of Use, status. Other forms of ownership do not qualify.
