K-ETA: Korea Electronic Travel Authorization

K-ETA is an electronic entry authorization for citizens of visa-waiver countries. It is obtained online before travel and allows entry without a traditional visa.

Important: citizens of Belarus and Ukraine are not eligible for K-ETA. They must apply for a visa through a Korean consulate.

Validity: three years from approval, with multiple entries during that period.

Permitted stay: depends on citizenship. Russian citizens may stay up to 60 days per entry, but no more than 90 days in any 180-day period.

Additional rule: travelers under age 17 and over age 65 are exempt from the K-ETA requirement.

Please note: K-ETA does not guarantee admission. The final decision is made by Korean immigration at the border.
