Pension Kitas for 1 year
The Retirement KITAS is a residence permit for foreign citizens who have reached the age of 55. It is intended for those who plan to reside in Indonesia without engaging in employment. This KITAS is a temporary residence permit issued for one year with the possibility of annual renewal for up to five years. After this period, the holder of a Retirement KITAS can apply for permanent residency.
The Retirement KITAS allows for free entry and exit from Indonesia throughout its validity period. It provides access to local prices for medical services and insurance, allows opening bank accounts in Indonesian banks, and enables applying for Schengen and Japanese visas from Indonesia. However, it is important to note that the Retirement KITAS does not grant the right to work or earn income from business in Indonesia.
For the applicant's spouse, if they have not yet reached the age of 55, it is possible to obtain a Family KITAS. The same KITAS can be obtained for the applicant's minor children under 18 years of age.
