The Second Home visa is intended for foreigners who want to reside temporarily in Indonesia for a long period without the intention of working. It is suitable for those planning a peaceful stay in the country, unrelated to employment or business activities.

The visa is issued immediately for 5 years with the possibility of extension for another 5 years, allowing stay in Indonesia for up to 10 years.

The main condition for obtaining a Second Home visa is financial solvency. It is necessary to either deposit funds in one of Indonesia's state banks in the amount of at least USD 130,000, or own real estate in Indonesia worth USD 1,000,000 or more with the right of use Hak Pakai. During the visa's validity period, you can use the funds in the account, however, immigration authorities have the right to request confirmation of the required amount at any time. If the requirements cannot be confirmed, the visa may be canceled, including visas for family members.

It is important to note that real estate used for the Second Home visa must have the Hak Pakai status. Other forms of ownership are not suitable.
