The Investor KITAS (type E28A) is a residence permit for investors and business owners in Indonesia. It is suitable for those who invest in an Indonesian PT PMA company and participate in the business as a shareholder, director, or authorized person. Such a KITAS allows you to reside in Indonesia for 2 years with the possibility of further extension.

Throughout the validity period of the Investor KITAS, free entry and exit from Indonesia are permitted without restrictions. This type of KITAS grants the right to legally manage a company and generate income within Indonesia, use medical services, open bank accounts in any Indonesian bank, and apply for visas to other countries from Indonesia, including Schengen, Japanese, and US visas.

If you are already in Indonesia, you can switch to an Investor KITAS from any visa type without having to leave the country.

For the investor's spouse, children, and parents, it is possible to apply for family KITAS. The application for family members can be started simultaneously with the application for the Investor KITAS.
